This was our cat, Rose. She was Tiggy's twin sister and was never a lovable cat. She would always sleep and never want anyone to pet her for a long period of time. If you did anything to her that she wouldn't like, then she would scratch you so hard! She had a tumor on her foot and in the fall, it started growing.. and getting worse. She had the tumor her whole life, though it only effected her when she was a kitten and when she was 5. December 19th, my mom and I took her to the vet and we were told that if we didn't have the money to amputate her foot, then we would have to put her down; we had no choice, but to end her life. The last few weeks of her life we loved her and gave her whatever she needed. She acted different as her last chapter was coming to an end, but then she was her normal self the last few ' pages '. The dark [fourth] day [of January] came and my parents took her away, leaving the rest of us in sorrow; I was the only that cried, since I knew that I wasn't nice to her until it came to the news. As long as we all knew that Rose didn't have to limp, or feel the pain anymore, we knew that she was fine once the doctors had to end it for her.
I love you Rose... and I always will. I am taking good care of your sister now (and making sure she doesn't get into anymore trouble). I know she misses you to, along with the rest of the family. We knew when they took your life away, that you wouldn't need to feel the blood on your foot and the big lump that had grown too much and broke.
thats sad,I know what you mean.I've lost so many pets in my life.i lost a hamster (died in one weak when i got him),ten gold fishes (died by old age but one was eaten by another),2 dogs (one recent and one when i was 6),and 3 birds (one died of old age,one died because her egg wouldn't come out) and one died of a tumor on his toe). here is a hug to make you feel better my friend *gives a big hug*

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article.
In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
